Is this NPC dialogue or am I losing it?

Same guy, same coffee cart, same flat delivery: 'Careful, it's hotter than it looks.' Fine, normal. Except two weeks later — identical intonation, identical pause, identical typo-of-speech. Like a looped audio file. I've started writing down what strangers say.
