Grew up in Port Henry NY so I had no choice in the matter lol. We've got the signboard downtown listing every "sighting" and yeah it's tourist bait now but the thing goes back way further than the gift shops. Native Abenaki and Iroquois both had stories about a horned serpent in the lake long before……
