This got nuked off a Micronesia community group within like a day, reposting because I'd saved it. For anyone who doesn't know: Nan Madol, off Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia, is a whole city of ~92 artificial islets built on a reef, linked by canals, 'Venice of the Pacific.'
