Pinky — the Holopaw / St. Johns River 'dinosaur,' Florida 1970s

Closing my run with a swampy obscure one. Central Florida, the St. Johns River drainage around Holopaw / Osceola County, mid-1970s. Ranchers and locals start reporting a creature in the river and marshes they called "Pinky" — long neck, small head, dinosaur/plesiosaur-ish, and supposedly pinkish or ……
