lived near Taos NM for a few years and the Hum is 100% real to the people who hear it, and the people who don't think they're all nuts, which is the whole tragedy of it. low droning sound, like a diesel idling three streets over that never stops. only about 1 in 50 people pick it up. drives the ones……
