WTF is up with my stuff vanishing and then magically reappearing???

This has happened to me three times in the last month. I put my keys on the kitchen counter, swear I left them there, come back five minutes later—gone. Search the whole apartment, no keys. Two days later? Back on the damn counter like I imagined the whole thing. Same with my wallet last week. Even ……
