Sava Savanovic isn't just a story — the actual mill on the Rogačica collapsed in 2012 and the WHOLE region freaked out

For the foreigners here: Sava Savanovic is supposedly the oldest named vampire in Serbian lore, a miller who drank the blood of people coming to grind grain at a watermill on the Rogačica river near Bajina Bašta. Milovan Glišić wrote him into a story in 1880 ('After Ninety Years'). Fine, folklore. B……
