I know Anjikuni is half hoax but somebody find me the ORIGINAL source

Putting this one up precisely because I want it torn apart. The legend: 1930, fur trapper Joe Labelle stumbles into an Inuit village on Lake Anjikuni in the Canadian arctic and finds it totally empty. Pots of food still on the fire.
