How is this one not more famous. Silpho Moor, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, November 1957. Three blokes find a metal object on the moor shaped like a flattened spinning top, about 45cm across, 15kg, covered in 'hieroglyphics' on the base. They pay a tenner for it apparently.
